"I graduated in 2017 and purchased my practice in 2022 with zero prior business experience. I did my best to learn as I went, but I knew there were gaps in my knowledge—and I wasn’t always sure who to turn to for guidance.
Russ’s name came up during a conversation with a colleague, so I looked him up and decided to give him a call. From the very first conversation, it was clear that he is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also easy to talk to and genuinely invested in helping my practice succeed. Russ asked a lot of questions about my practice before he would agree to take me as a client. His recommendations from a numbers perspective have dramatically increased my production and collections.
Russ has helped me in countless other ways—both by answering questions I knew I had and by addressing issues I didn’t even realize I should be thinking about. He is friendly, experienced, approachable, and incredibly insightful.
I would highly recommend Russ to any dentist who is new, struggling, or simply looking to improve their practice and overall quality of life."

"We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to work with The Ledbetter Group. Our initial objective was to deepen our understanding of insurance systems and to clearly define roles for our front desk team. Ashley played a pivotal role in helping us achieve this goal. Her expertise was evident, and we especially appreciated her in-office visits on three separate occasions. During that time, she built rapport with the front desk staff, collaborated with Dr. Weldon to clarify roles and responsibilities, and effectively implemented those changes. It has been a tremendous relief to ownership knowing that front office operations are now running at a much higher level of efficiency. Our second objective was to increase production and collections without adding providers or staff. This was successfully achieved through collaboration with Russ, who helped us design a structured, productive schedule with protected time blocks. These blocks can only be adjusted if specific production criteria or procedures are scheduled, ensuring we stay on track. Our third goal was to reduce Dr. Weldon’s administrative workload. While this is still in progress, we’ve made meaningful strides by training another team member to take on some of the more routine tasks. Looking ahead, we plan to hire an office manager once we reach our targeted production benchmarks. Lastly, we truly valued our initial strategy meeting with Russ. It created a space for open, honest, and respectful communication with our entire team and was an important foundation for the progress we’ve made."
